Playgroup Opening Times

Open Monday to Friday (term-time only)

Morning Session	9.00am - 12.00pm
Afternoon Session	12.30pm - 3.30pm

Busy Bees Playgroup (located within Centre AT7) aims to provide a friendly, safe, stimulating learning environment for pre-school children.

At Busy Bees Playgroup we believe children should be respected and their individual qualities recognised, valued and nurtured to help enable each child to fulfil their potential. The children will learn primarily through their play by exploring and discovering the inside and outdoor environment.

Activities on offer include: Arts & Crafts; Role Play; Graphics Area; Sand & Water Play; Maths Area; Dressing Up; Construction; Story Time; Outdoor Play; Music; Physical Play; Workshop; and much more...!

Age Limit:	2-4 years**

The above prices and activities are available from 1st April 2012 and are subject to change

* Concessions are available for Passport to Leisure, NUS Extra, Priority Card holders and Seniors

** Government funding is available for children ofer the age of three years

Working With Parents

Links between playgroup and parents are to be encouraged to ensure an increased knowledge and understanding of the children.

Key Workers

We operate a key-worker system whereby a member of staff will act as a keyworker for a small group of children. This can help the children settle better. Each child will be allocated a key-worker when he/she begins playgroup.

Snack Time

The children and staff have a healthy snack and a drink. We ask the children to bring two pieces of fruit a week to share.

Funding Available

Places are available FREE of charge (subject to availability) as Government Funding is available for children over the age of three.

Ofsted Regulated

All staff are fully qualified and work to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Playgroup is inspected by Ofsted.
