The ‘Coventrian’ narrow boat is owned and operated by The Living Environment Trust - a registered charity that seeks to work with communities to demonstrate a positive interaction between the built and natural environments.
All funding obtained from the hire of the ‘Coventrian’ is directed into the development of The Living Canals Project - an educational scheme aimed at introducing school children to concepts of waterway ecology, canal history and heritage, travel and transport, and environmental impact.
The 25m long ‘Coventrian’ can hold up to 24 people seated or 39 standing. The narrow boat offers something for everyone:
