The Lifestyles Team are entering the Coventry Walkathon 2011. The Walkathon is a sponsored walk and has raised over £164.500 for 270 local charities and worthwhile causes.

We are raising money for Sherbourne Fields School. Sherbourne Fields is a special school for pupils with physical disabilities, medical conditions and learning difficulties.The school's population is wide-ranging and diverse, with pupils from a rich mix of social and cultural backgrounds and experiencing a variety of profound and complex special needs.

We would be helping them to improve their outdoor play area which at the moment consists of a field and tarmaced area. The wheelchair bound pupils are unable to access the field and sadly have to watch the other children playing from the side lines. Sherbourne are hoping to create a path that winds through the field so that the wheelchair bound pupils can excess all areas of the field and join in the fun.

Each lap is 1.75 miles and you can do as any laps as you wish up to 3.15pm.

Get sponsorship forms from reception, ETM studios or the gym. Pass your £5.00 entry money onto either Nicole or Phil who will enter you as part of the Lifestyles Team.

Prizes for the best individual fancy dress and team fancy dress. With the Royal Wedding and the Olympics next year, we as a team have decided to ‘Go British’. Wear a Union Jack hat or a T-shirt, paint your face, go mad or just wave a flag.
