Ours Centres are located on main roads to provide easy access by car and public transport. The City wide locations have proven popular with members, as they offer the opportunity to work out close to work during the weekdays and near home on the weekends.

Our Centre and fitness staff are always on-hand to offer any
assistance or answer any questions you may have. From the
moment you walk in, during your activity and to the moment you
leave, we aim to ensure all our members enjoy their experience.

Working out at any of our Centres gives you the opportunity to
meet new like-minded people. We also have groups of colleagues and friends taking part in classes as a fun and social occasion. Class Instructors enjoy socialising with members and are always happy to have a cool-down drink in the café bars after a class.

The large car parks at all Centres offer members free car parking with no time limit on stay. The car parks are well-lit and provide designated spaces for wheelchair users and parents with small children (Xcel Leisure Centre and Centre AT7 only) located near to Centre entrances.

We offer free crèche in the play areas at all Centres for children
under five. Qualified childcare workers supervise the crèche, which allows you to enjoy your workout knowing your children are in a safe, secure and fun environment.

To get off to the right start a ‘Lite’ breakfast is available free for
members in the café bars at all Centres between 6.30-9.00am
Monday to Friday. Choose from a selection of cereals, toast with choice of jams and butter, plus tea and coffee.

We offer a range of branded merchandise with 20% discount for members. The current selection includes wet bags, hand towels and waterbottles that are available to purchase from Reception at all Centres.

Do you need that extra bit of motivation or require a specialised
fitness programme? Then our Personal Trainers are the answer. Each trainer has a range of specialised areas and offer members individual discounts. For more information please see notice boards in Fitness Suites or enquire at Reception.

As the name suggests they require a specialist Instructor to deliver them. Specialist Classes are available at all Centres and offer a different type of workout. Members receive a discount on the pay as you go classes or courses.

Combine your fitness workout with a Badminton or Tennis session at any of our Centres, with your friends or colleagues. Members are entitled to a 30% discount on courts booked before 4pm on weekdays or anytime on weekends. Pre-booking is required, enquire at Reception for more information.

Keep your children busy in a fun after school sports coaching or activity session at any Centre while you go for a workout. Discounts vary depending on session, for more information pickup a copy of the ‘Get Active’ booklet or enquire at Reception.

A range of small to large function rooms are available to hire with a choice of catering menus from buffets to sit-down meals. Our dedicated Events and Hospitality Manager is always available to help plan and deliver your event. Members are entitled to a 10% discount on the total room hire charge.

Hire the Coventrian to celebrate your birthday party, hen or stag
night, or a family get together in a unique way, while cruising along the Coventry canal. Members are entitled to a 10% discount on the total hire charge.

Throughout the year we have a calendar of eating out and family events, as well as, the regular Sunday Carvery. Discounts range depending on the event and members are entitled to a 10% discount on the Sunday Carvery. For more information pick-up a copy of the ‘What’s On’ guide or enquire at Reception.

The Café Bars at The Alan Higgs Centre and Xcel Leisure Centre offer a range of sit-down menus, plus sandwich meal deals for those on the go. Members are entitled to a 10% discount off food and hot drinks (not including soft or alcoholic drinks).

For members who feel more comfortable to workout in a Ladies only environment we offer specific Ladies only fitness sessions across the three Centres. Sessions include Fitness Suite, Health Suite and Swimming. See page 18 for more information.

Throughout the year we have programmed in a variety of fitness
challenges with prizes for winners, as well as, fitness related
tests to enable you to check your progress. Details of up coming challenges will be posted on notice boards within the Fitness Suites. See page 13 for more information on tests available.

As part of the membership package, ‘Lifestyles’ Health & Fitness members are now entitled to discounted tickets to go watch the Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey Club at the Skydome Arena. Adult tickets are available for £10, reduced from £16 and Children’s tickets are available for £5, reduced from £11.
