Coventry Sports Foundation has extensive experience in staging large events at each of its three centres and in recent years has hosted events such as:

  • UK School Games
  • The International Children’s Games
  • Rotary Disabled Sports Team Championship
  • Midpex - stamp exhibition
  • Safeguarding Children in Sport National Conference
  • Computer Fayres
  • Wedding Fayres
  • Trampolining Tournaments
  • Martial Arts Tournaments

 

The Alan Higgs Centre, which is the base for Coventry City Football Club Academy, has hosted training sessions for National and International football teams and is the base for the Midlands Centre of Excellence for Rugby League. The Centre has also been chosen by LOCOG as a potential training venue for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
