Recreation Attendant / Lifeguard

Description:

A lively and enthusiastic individual is required to undertake duties as a recreation attendant / lifeguard. The ideal candidate for this position will be hardworking, able to show initiative and will work well as part of a team.

Duties include lifeguarding, setting up equipment, assisting in the crèche/playgroup as required, cleaning and dealing with customer enquiries.

The principal place of employment will be the Xcel Leisure Centre and full training will be provided.

The successful applicant will be required to work days, evenings and weekends, therefore a flexible attitude to shift work is essential.

A recognised lifeguard qualification and first aid certificate is essential.

Fitness Suite Instructor

Description:

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the ‘Lifestyles’ Manager in the daily operation of the Fitness Suites; providing gym inductions, personal programmes and fitness assessments (a nationally recognised Fitness Instructor qualification is essential).

Employment will be based at both Xcel Leisure Centre and Centre AT7 and full training will be provided.

The successful applicant will be required to work days, evenings and weekends, therefore a flexible attitude to shift work is essential.

Playgroup Assistant

Description:

A caring and enthusiastic individual with good communication skills is required to work within Centre AT7’s ‘Busy Bees’ playgroup facility caring for young children.

The successful candidate for this position will be part of a team who are responsible for providing children with a varied range of opportunities for play and learning, whilst ensuring that the children are in a safe and stimulating environment.

The post-holder will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3 standard (or recognised equivalent). ‘Busy Bees’ playgroup works towards Ofsted curriculum.

The principal place of employment will be Centre AT7 and full training will be provided.
