5-a-side Leagues

kick off your season

football pitches

The 5-a-side football league takes place at The Alan Higgs Centre every Sunday evening. All matches are played on Coventry's only Indoor 'Third Generation' (3G) surface.

The league and cup competitions run all year round and offer weekly man of the match awards and end of season presentations evenings. The Alan Higgs Centre is a superb venue for football with excellent bar and changing facilities and a viewing gallery for friends and family to watch your team play.

The Pitch

The unique indoor 3G synthetic pitch is perfect for football. It looks and feels just like grass and absorbs impact, making it a lot more enjoyable and realistic to play on compared to conventional astro turf pitches.
Pitches such as these are used by many of the world's top professional clubs, with the one at The Alan Higgs Centre being the home of Coventry City FC Academy and often used as a winter training facility by the club's first team, which showcases the facilitiy's quality.
